At The Overview Creative, we believe video has a unique ability to bring people together, spark curiosity, and change the way we see the world.
We’re a video production company driven by a simple idea: the most compelling stories begin with something real. A fleeting moment between two people. A scientific discovery that challenges what we know. An adventure into the unknown. A perspective that makes us stop, look closer, and see something differently.
Our work spans documentary filmmaking, science communication, weddings, commercial productions, and aerial cinematography. While the subjects may change, our approach remains the same: seek out authentic moments, find the story worth telling, and bring it to life through thoughtful storytelling and cinematic imagery.
Founded by filmmaker Matt Doucette, The Overview Creative brings over a decade of experience in video production, storytelling, and visual media. Matt works alongside his wife, Samantha, to bring each project from concept to completion, combining creative vision with a collaborative, hands-on approach to production.
Whether we’re documenting the natural world, capturing the beginning of a marriage, or bringing a client’s vision to life, our goal is to create films that do more than simply show an experience. We want people to feel connected to it.
